Lodging in Grenoble

Yesterday I received the result of my lodging application in France. For those who have not already known, I was supposed to choose among 3 categories of residence: traditional (cheapest), renovated or a private hostel (about the same). I put renovated hostel as my first choice, followed by the private one then traditional. Alas, i was posted to my 3rd choice accomodation.

Ignorance is bliss. I accepted the result without complaints yesterday, till I found some websites on the residence which almost shocked me to death. The state of the hostel is simply awful. I would call it "unliveable" if such word exists. I am going to launch an appeal, but writing a convincing letter with good reasons in French is no easy task. Wish me luck!

21 days to SEP

Finally I figured out how to set up a blog. I will keep everyone updated of my experiences during my SEP here. Only 21 days to go. I need to feel a little more excited than now.
